Double-Crested Cormorant, Reflecting
This Cormorant recently came to visit our local lake. He was kind enough to allow me to sit and watch him for over an hour, during which time I was able to photograph some of his quirks. This image is one of them. He would frequently stretch his neck and open his mouth, wide. The stillness of the air and subsequent reflection were a real bonus.
