16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Double Exposure near Lake Quinault, Olympic Peninsula, Washington.
Autumn, 2016. On a back-camping trip through the Olympic National Park in Washington State, I shot a double exposure of both Lake Quinault, and the interior rain forest. Upon close observation, one can see my cohort posing in the direct center, breaking from her mushroom hunt.
