January 2020, Venice Skate Park, California. The Skate Park is busy as usual, many riders trying to find their way to drop in the "bowl", while the audience applauses every new trick they see and cheer on rider that fail. It's a spectacle right next to the famous Venice Boardwalk. I'm kneeling down to get a new perspective. There it is, a rider sets off to a jump. A second skater rolls in, pushing hard with his left foot off the ground to gain more speed. If the shutter would not have been released, the double movement would have never been noticed. Nothing was staged, only the moment counted. Street Photography at its best.
