This photo is simply showing the peacefulness of pond life. My husband and I were strolling through the botanical gardens, enjoying a leisurely afternoon taking in the sights and sounds. The ponds were very active with birds, frogs, and insects. The bright blue dragonfly flew past me and landed on the vibrant purple water lily. The colors and lighting were just too perfect not to capture.
