We were staying just below the Acropolis in Athens, and had had a long day of traveling. We arrived at the hotel and opened the shutters to see the view. To say we were amazed would be an understatement. These strange clouds shifted and changed colors for half an hour until Athens finally settled into darkness. It was one of the most memorable sunsets of my life.
