Dramatic Transformation on the Lake

The Great Salt Lake in Utah is currently 8 times more salter than the ocean during the ongoing and current drought. This extreme environment have turned portions of the lake into pink colored water due to red pigment in the salt tolerant bacteria and algae that survive this extreme salinity. This dramatic transformation is constantly changing with the enviornment.
