Draped Shrine and tomb of Sheikh Adi ibn Musafir adorned with silk cloths, Lalish Temple
Lalish Temple, home of the Yezidi religion, welcomed devotees to the Shrine of Sheikh Adi ibn Musafir. After tying one knot, then untying another knot in a colored silk cloth, a devotee placed the cloth atop the tomb. The devotee then circumambulated the tomb 3 times to have his prayers answered.
