14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Dream Lake
This lake rests at in the high peaks of Rocky Mountain National Forest. It was a beautiful night for hiking into the forest in search of dark skies and the solar plane. As we stumbled upon Dream Lake my friend approached the rocky shore and her head lamp reflected off the water.
