Driving on the Moon

This amazing place is a unique destination, full of geological wonders and exotic moon-like landscape in South-Central Idaho.The Craters of the Moon Lava field spreads across 618 square miles and is the largest mostly Holocene-aged basaltic lava field in the United States at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve.
