Drunk on Berries

This Cedar Waxwing is clearly drunk on the berries that it has consumed on this foggy Winter morning! It was so dark that I had to rely on the pop-up flash on my camera, which required me to be within six feet of the bird. The Crabapple Tree was full of Cedar Waxwings, and they were not afraid of me at all! After feeding for a couple of hours, they left, never to be seen again. If it hadn't been for the late start to school that day, we never would have seen them.
