19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile

During the Covid Pandemic, the California beaches provided an escape from the confinement we experienced, inspiring a release of emotions while maintaining social distance. Note the mask that my wife Cindy could lower for a time to inhale the fresh sea breeze, with the waves washing under her feet, the sky changing colors, and the waxing crescent Moon appearing near the horizon.
