E4804, tiger cub specimen (mounted)

This tiger fetus display was confiscated by US federal wildlife officials in 2012. Tigers are one of the world's most iconic big cats and among the most critically endangered. There are an estimated 3,800 tigers remaining in the wild due to poaching, loss of habitat, and human-wildlife conflict. This tiger fetus was removed from its mother for display in glass case.
