In dawn's early light, the fog was just beginning to lift from the mountains surrounding Lake Inle, Myanmar. I was on a boat on a personal tour offered by our hotel on the morning of a Buddhist festival. I don't think boat had nothing to do with the festival, but was simply men out fishing or tending the gardens they grow on top of this shallow lake.
