While I was studying abroad in Australia this fall, my program spent a week at a research station on Heron Island, which is part of the Great Barrier Reef. On our last morning, we woke up at 4:30 am to catch the sunrise. Our whole program sat together on the beach, taking in the beauty of the early morning ocean.
