This is the Potomac River. Over 6 million people and diverse ecosystems depend on the interstate water resources of the Potomac basin, known as the “Nation’s River." The Potomac River Basin stretches across parts of four states (Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia) and the District of Columbia, making it the 4th largest river along the Atlantic coast.
