This is such a beautiful part of the South Island of New Zealand. The highway and the train track parallel the Pacific Ocean. The colours are beautiful. There are lots of fur seals, dolphins and there is the ocean floor that was raised up in the earthquake. Miles of beach to walk on. I was able to be patience and sit and wait in the open car and snap a few shots with the right landscape and also with the waves rolling in.
