While enjoying the beach on my visit to Dubai this fall, a camel suddenly appeared walking down the beach with a young man wearing a traditional garment or a dishdasha. It occurred to me that I was witnessing two distinctive cultures, old meets new, east meets west. The contrast of the beautiful young girls sporting their itsy, bitsy bikinis walking along the beaches of Dubai with this camel was priceless.
