Eastern Chipmunk Tween' Road Grader Steering Wheels

This tiny wildlife creature used to live alone earlier this summer beneath a stump where he made his home and I had not seen him around for awhile! I recognized him today, September 10th, because of the chip that was bitten out of his ear, and a scar on his face after he had got into a scrap with one of his siblings awhile back. It was a partly cloudy afternoon when he appeared suddenly on the old road grader where we have a small garden with flowers planted around it in our backyard. It is such fun to get shots like this that are unexpected and I love the higher spot on the road grader that he chose to make his grand appearance.
