The subject of this photo is a beautiful Egret that has joined a rookery at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. This swamp contains hundreds of birds that make the Lowcountry home. This particular Egret allowed me to get surprisingly close to take the shot. I stood by very patiently, taking multiple shots until I had found the one I loved the most.
