20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
El Capitan Meadow.
I was thrilled to stand on the site that Teddy Roosevelt camped with John Muir. When I turned and looked toward El Capitan, I saw and then photographed the meadow and the base of El Capitan.
