This image was taken in Havana, Cuba in January 2020. I was perusing the old streets of La Habana and came across this man smoking cigars on the curb. I asked him in broken Spanglish where I could get a good Cuban cigar. He motioned for me to follow him and ended up taking me through alleyways and narrow streets to a small hidden enclave of homes leading to a courtyard. There we came upon two men secretly selling cigars straight from the factories in Cuba. I bought some amazing cigars and then asked if I could take a snapshot of him.
