I captured this photo while traveling through Mexico City- a longtime touchstone of inspiration for the creative animal in me. This was taken on a hazy June morning in Roma Norte in the dining room of the casa I was being hosted at, and depicts various vintage articles and a year round Mexican alter for the dead. The photo represents perspective, relativity and proportion, and how each of those components can appear altered. I wanted to capture the disorienting and mysterious quality of what we perceive in conjunction with what we can't see.
