I was on a bus tour traveling through Abidjan. This elegant Church Sanctuary came looming up in the distance. The shrine, spiraling toward the sky, was built to help bring peace and reconciliation to the Ivory Coast. Devotees are invited to make pilgramages to the Virgin Mary here.
