elephant crossing
Elephant families are incredibly protective of their young. In the Maasai Mara, wildebeest were queuing up to cross the Mara river a little way upstream. Crocodiles and Hippos floated lethargically waiting for the food to arrive. This herd of elephants took a while to assess the situation and crossed with the littlest ones holding on to the tails of their mothers.
