Elevators of the "Cerro Barón", Valparaíso.

The Barón elevator has a great urban value by relating the plan with one of the most interesting sights in the eastern sector of the amphitheater. This viewpoint was historically part of the primitive road to Quillota, which linked Valparaíso with the Hacienda de las Siete Hermanas (on land where Viña del Mar stands today). It is located between 5 and 35 meters above sea level. It has a rail length of 55 m and a journey of 95 seconds.
