Embracing The Olive Future

Far from the hustle and bustle of city life, lies a place Rushikhulya, where the barren beaches come alive with the endangered Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, emerging from the ocean in hundreds and thousands to nest and lay eggs, a rare phenomenon known as the Arribada. After the Arribada is over, it takes approximately takes 45-55 days for the eggs to hatch. Thousands, or rather lakhs, of newly hatched Olive Ridley sea turtles, then start their endless journey towards the ocean.
