I am a first-generation university grad and the eldest in my family. Due to covid, I did not get graduation so we decided to take our own pictures and celebrate in some way as a family. This shot was taken by my sister, Christina Samsonyan, who gave me permission to post it as my contest entry. After hearing my name said and shown in a youtube video created by my university - my family and I had brunch and then headed to the beach for graduation pictures. Congrats class of 2021!
