I took it to participate in the 40th edition of the Quart de Poblet Photographic Exhibition. A university research group had launched an appeal because throughout its history only 10% of the participants were female photographers. I decided to compete in the local theme category. On the verge of giving up, I went to the Turia river park. It had been 4 years since the last time I had been there. There I found the necessary inspiration. It was a short but fruitful walk. A familiar space can surprise you when you look at it carefully. I kept a photo on my mobile phone before handing in my copy. A few hours later, the state of pandemic emergency was declared in March 2020. I looked at it every time I found it difficult to cope with the confinement. I longed for that last walk and at the same time I was grateful to have recreated myself in it.
