End of Kulasai Dussera Festival

In Kulasai Dasara, it was socially acceptable for men to dress like women goddess. Symbolically projecting and channelizing the shadow self. The true goal of human existence is to attain an enlightened psychological state of being, you may call it “self-realization. After reaching, I began to follow the devotees to see their end point towards the seashore, which was about 1 km away from the temple. Once I reached there, I could see hundreds of devotees who were literally in a possessed state do their final prayer and take a dip in the sea to end their journey. It was enthralling to see hundreds of devotees transformed as Kali who were all around us marching towards their climax. I took some shots till the sunset and left the place around 7.00pm. I surely I cannot forget those breathtaking memories in lifetime. This photo was taken at the end of Sea Shore during sunset.
