15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
End of Shift

As I was visiting my parents' graves, I noticed the work gloves that had been taken off and left behind after their work was done. I then made an analogy between those gloves and there being in the cemetery and my parents, who were also in the cemetery because they had reached their earthly work and end of shift.
