endangered barasingha deer in Kanha Tiger Reserve India

The Hard Ground Barasingha (Rucervus duvaucelii branderi) is an endemic deer on the Red Data list of IUCN. These highly endangered deer are found only in the grasslands of the Kanha Tiger Reserve in the tiger heartland of India. With an estimated population of around 400 animals, this highly endangered deer are incredible to photograph with their 12 tines.
