I inherited this plate in 1992. It is heavy & large but I think beautiful. I recently pulled it from behind my sofa & decided it should be photographed even w the dust on back of it. I took it outside in my atrium & added colored cellophane behind plate. The plate was in a bit of shade. I then blacked out plants in background in computer & just let the plate be the photo center of picture. No work on plate except black to edge.
