May in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The flowers are in full bloom and spring is strong. Under the ancient city gate and beside the moat, several people with walking disabilities in wheelchairs rested in the shade of the trees. Their faces were covered with sweat, obviously, they came to play from other places. There are 50 million disabled people in China, but they live happily, carefree, and love life just like normal people. Photographed at Yongningmen in Xi'an in May 2021.
