Entomopathogenic fungus - the invisible death
An unlucky tree cricket got infected with an entomopathogenic fungus and ultimately ended up as melted biomass only vaguely resembling its original form. It is a perfect reminder to us how many organisms exist, that we simply cannot see - we sometimes find, what they leave as trace afterwards though - as seen here.
