Exercising a Captive Cheetah
The Ann Van Dyke Cheetah Center in South Africa has a number of cheetahs used for captive breeding. To stay healthy and happy, cheetahs need to run. So they have devised a clever system using a lure coursing system of a bag (the prey) on a rapidly moving cable stretched out over a field to exercise their cats. Here one of them takes off after the "prey".
