18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Explorers
One of the biggest losses people have suffered in the past year due to the Covid-19 crisis, is the freedom to travel, explore and expand their horizons by getting to know more of the world. Now, our obligation is to stay still, watch and hope. Only the hope that we will soon be able to cross borders to explore new worlds or just be with our loved ones, is what remains to keep us going. In the meantime, the ocean breeze and some stargazing to the nearest beach in the middle of the night just to watch a meteor shower, can be greatly full-filling for the soul and the mind's well-being. We are hanging in there.
