Exploring the Wilderness from one of America's Best Tourist Trains
This past August as part of the National Railway Historical Society, I had the pleasure of being able to ride one of America's most scenic tourist trains, the Potomac Eagle Railway. Here, the train is passing alongside the south branch of the Potomac River near Sycamore, West Virginia. The scene of the river surrounded by forests demonstrates that this is truly the "middle of nowhere."
