Explosive Violin Solo

The parts of the soloist can be seen in this way: the violin comes at you near the lower center. The player's left hand curls beneath the neck of the violin while his right hand holds the bow, slanting upwards. The center of the explosion is about where the bow meets the strings of the violin. The goal was to emulate one of my favorite portraits---Pablo Picasso's painting of the art dealer Ambroise Vollard.
