On the 24th of June, Saint John's midsummer's eve, the elements are celebrated in a night of fire and water all over Catalonia. Me and my friends were in France at the time but still wanted to celebrate the age old Catalan tradition. Since water and fire are important components of the festivity, we found the perfect place to light a pire and sing songs: A river with a single haybale in front of it.
