During my visit to DC to search out and honor a fallen American hero, Captain John Seel, on the Wall, I encountered this amazing memorial in tribute to the field nurses who served in Vietnam. This sculpture projects the sublime grandeur and searing pain of these amazing American women - true heroes who risked everything to protect their troops who gave everything.
