Taken in Amboseli National Park, Kenya. We stopped at a seasonal flood pool when I saw a pied kingfisher iconically dive to grab a fish. It resurfaced with this one and landed on a rocky outcrop, where it began to eat its oversized meal. This photo embodies the circle of life; The symmetry of the fish’ face to the kingfisher’s face conveys the continuality of nature’s course.
