While in the Galapagos and never having seen Iguanas before-and certainly not up close and personal- when seeing this fellow I felt that I needed to get to know him better. His coloration and spiky hairdo was intriguing and deserved a more "eye level" look. He didn't seem to mind and didn't go into "attack mode"-so I now assume that one can have safe and "close encounters" with this reptile. Correct???
