F104 Starfighter Jet with Chuck Yeager's name on it, to honor his airforce achievements
This jet is at the Grass Valley, CA airport and behind, in the sky, is smoke from the fire in Colfax, CA last summer. General Chuch Yeager was the first human to break the sound barrier in a Bell X-1 jet. He had moved to Grass Valley a few years earlier and the airforce honored him with this F104 with his name on it.
