Hidden Faces

Human trafficking is globally pervasive, economically motivated, and emotionally overwhelming. "Hidden Faces" is a portrait of 14 year old girl who has been rescued from the horrors of the trafficking world and is in the healing process. The young girl is seen looking out the window of her safe-house bedroom while listening to soft music. A Kenyan based nonprofit, HAART Kenya, granted Matilde access to their organization to document the healing process of the young women. HAART Kenya works exclusively on combatting human trafficking in Kenya and empowering its victims.
