Face Mask and Soft Feet

It is typical in Africa for women to carry their children on their backs, wrapping them up in material and tying it at the front so the child is secured against the back of the mother. It is also typical within Madagascar, where this photo was taken, for the women to grind up the bark of certain trees and to apply it as a face mask as protection from the burning hot sun during the day.
