While observing brown bears fishing in Alaska, this particular juvenile came to the creeks edge and plopped a seat only 25 yards away from us. He sat there motionless, observing the water for nearly 5 minutes. During that time, I was able to move into position to get this profile shot of his face against the vibrant green sedge grass to his side. He was just starting to lose his winter fur, which really helped accentuate the photo.
