This year a volcano in Iceland began to erupt. This shot was taken at the tail end of the eruption thus far. During periods of inactivity there is a lot of waiting around and hoping something will happen. Luckily on this day the volcano spit out this gaseous burst. For a brief moment we had a beautiful display. People, including myself, were hollering and laughing in excitement.
