This lighthouse was built in 1825 and shone its light to guide Lake Erie’s sailors for 100 years. Now a museum and gift shop, the lighthouse now overlooks Fairport Harbor Beach, a popular local hang out and tourist destination. The morning sun was just beginning to illuminate the buildings as this photo was taken.
