The river Jamuna,being a holy one,has been witnessing many a rituals for many a years.People from different corners of the country come to this place for religious acts.The area near the river is an industrial area having various factories,chemical trashes of which are being pumped out to the "Jamuna".The woman is worshipping the morning Sun during the "Chhat" festival,standing in the polluted river with froth all around her to signify that faith is eternal.
