The world has cried a lot. May peace be prevailed. A 100 feet long statue of the Buddha, presumably the largest in India, is going to be constructed at Bodhgaya under the auspices of Buddha International Mission by the Kumortuli artist, Mintu Pal. The preliminary work of the project of making the mould was carried on in Kolkata. This image was taken while the work was being dismantled. While people were losing jobs owing to the pandemic, such an effort created some job opportunity.
